I was a teenager when I began working for my dad's business, Stephen Plocher Accountancy Corporation. My tasks then were data entry, collating and mailing. Many years later, I came back: from 2015 until May of 2021, I prepared tax returns while also helping manage the office. Prior to my Accounting career, I owned and operated Yokayo Biofuels, a biodiesel production & distribution company, for 13 years. In 2007 I was awarded "Businessperson of the Year" by the Ukiah Chamber of Commerce. Sustainable energy and deep ecology remain very important to me.
